NEW ALBUM UPDATE
The Strokes will begin recording their second album in September, according to Rolling Stone. Gordon Raphael, producer of 'Is This It', is also expected to be working on the new record.

'SOMEDAY' NEXT SINGLE WORLDWIDE
It has been revealed that the next single for The Strokes will be 'Someday'. Ryan Gentles has said that the song will be released "in most European countries, probably Japan and Australia as well and the US." B-sides have yet to be confirmed.

'THE FACE' COVER ARTICLE
The Strokes will be appearing on the cover of UK magazine 'The Face' in their July 2002 issue. The whole band will be interviewed in depth, and, knowing 'The Face', they'll have some rather pleasant images too.

STROKES AND STRIPES TOGETHER AT LAST
The Strokes and The White Stripes have confirmed that they will be playing four shows together in August, including a show at Radio City Music Hall. NME.com has more info.
